Rokumonsen
Japanese think there is a big river between this world and the heaven
and they need to pay 6 coins to the boat man to go across that river. The
family emblem of Sanada family is called "Rokumonsen" which is
formed by two lines of three coins. It means the warriors were always ready
to risk their lives in battles, that is the Samurai spirit of the Sanada
family.
Streets and Houses of Matsushiro
The Matsushiro remains almost as same as the town planning of the Edo era.
Because the main spots are close each other, you can walk around and visit
easy to the historical buildings such as gates or walls of the samurai
houses in the castle town and trees planted in the gardens with the taste
of the Edo era.
